Reverse description Centrally positioned quartered royal shield of arms, displaying in the first and fourth quarters the three passant guardant lions of England, in the second quarter the lion rampant of Scotland, and in the third quarter the Irish harp; the shield is surmounted by an arched and jewelled crown of elaborate design. The date 1662 is divided at the top of the shield, flanked by the crown. The encircling Latin legend reads FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA, meaning 'By concord kingdoms flourish', separated by a dot at the base.
