| Obverse description | The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a llama standing before a mountain landscape with a radiant sun rising behind the peaks, all within an oval cartouche flanked by furled national flags, crossed cannons, and bundles of fasces. An Andean condor with wings displayed surmounts the shield at the apex. Nine five-pointed stars arranged in a arc appear in the lower field below the shield, representing the nine departments of Bolivia. The circular legend REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA runs along the upper periphery within a toothed border of fine dentilation. |
