Obverse description Central field dominated by the Lüneburg civic arms: a stylized eagle displayed within a shield, rendered in the bold, flat relief characteristic of late medieval hammered bracteate-influenced coinage. The design is enclosed within a beaded or toothed inner border, itself surrounded by a prominent radiate or serrated outer rim that frames the entire composition. The dies show the typical irregular flan spread and shallow strike associated with small hammered silver issues of the period. No legend is present on this face; the heraldic device serves as the sole identifying element.
