| Obverse description | Central field bearing a bold Persian devotional inscription in flowing Nasta'liq script, reading 'Banda-yi Shah-i Wilayat Abbas' ('Servant of the King of Sainthood, Abbas'), with the mint name Farahabad incorporated into the legend. The script is deeply struck in high relief against a plain, slightly irregular flan typical of hammered Safavid coinage. The lettering fills the entire field without a formal border, consistent with the compact bisti denomination. |

| Reverse description | Central field occupied by the Shi'a triple profession of faith (tashahud) arranged in three horizontal registers in Nasta'liq script: 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but God) in the upper register, 'Muhammad Nabi Allah' (Muhammad is the Prophet of God) in the middle register, and 'Ali Wali Allah' (Ali is the Friend of God) in the lower register. The inscription is divided by ruled lines forming a characteristic grid layout, a hallmark of Safavid fractional silver coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with the hand-cut planchet technique of the period. |
