Obverse description Standing frontal figure of Saint Lawrence (San Lorenzo), patron saint of Trogir, depicted in episcopal vestments and holding a martyr's gridiron to his left side; the saint's figure occupies the central field with the inscription encircling the periphery. The legend reads TRAGVR · S · LAVRENTICVS and the initials NM appear in the right field, likely denoting the mint master. The style is characteristic of Venetian-influenced medieval hammered coinage of Dalmatia.
