| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of King Friedrich August I of Saxony in left-facing profile, depicting the monarch in military dress with elaborate epaulettes, decorations including a prominent star order on the chest, and detailed engraving of the uniform's braid and facings. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine neoclassical workmanship attributable to the engraver Stieler. A beaded border frames the design, with the circular Latin legend reading FRIEDR. AUGUST KOENIG V. SACHSEN distributed around the periphery. |

| Reverse description | The crowned coat of arms of the Kingdom of Saxony occupies the central field, depicting the quartered Saxon shield — barry of ten or and sable with a bend of Thuringia — surmounted by a royal crown of elaborate form. The date numerals are divided to either side of the shield, with two digits flanking each side. The upper arc of the beaded border carries the legend DER SEGEN DES BERGBAUS (The Blessing of Mining), a reference to the Ausbeute mining origin of the silver, while the lower arc bears the weight standard inscription ZEHN EINE FEINE MARK with the Dresden mint mark S. |
