Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Anton of Saxony, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair and aged facial features in a neoclassical portrait style. The truncation of the bust is plain and unadorned. The circular legend around the periphery reads ANTON KOENIG VON SACHSEN, interrupted by a six-pointed star at the top, with the commemorative date legend + DEN 6 IUNI 1836 running along the lower portion of the field. The whole is contained within a beaded border.
