| Reverse description | The plastic centre insert features a full-colour view of the Cathedral of St. Panteleimon at the New Athos Monastery (Novy Afon), Abkhazia, rendered in polychrome against a blue sky with clouds. The multi-domed Byzantine-style cathedral is depicted with its characteristic striped yellow and red brickwork, prominent central dome surmounted by an Orthodox cross, and flanking subsidiary domes, with lush subtropical vegetation visible in the background. The Cyrillic inscription 'Афон Ҿыц' (New Athos) appears in the lower portion of the coloured insert. The surrounding milled aluminium ring bears the same repeating incuse Cyrillic legend '1 ПСАРК' separated by raised dots as on the obverse. |
