| Reverse description | A large Tudor royal ship viewed from the side occupies the central field, its hull rendered with curved planking and rigging clearly delineated; a quartered shield of the arms of England and France ancient is affixed to the mast amidships. Above the shield, at the top of the mast, appears the mintmark cross-crosslet flanked by the letter h and a rose. A beaded inner circle encloses the composition, with the devotional legend in uncial Latin characters running around the periphery between inner and outer beaded borders. |
