Obverse description Central field depicts a double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with both heads crowned by separate arched crowns, wings spread, and talons extended downward. The eagle is rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of mid-fifteenth century Austrian coinage. A circular beaded or rope border frames the central device. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial script reads the ruler's name, FRIDRIE V, running around the periphery of the flan.
