| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a two-line Arabic legend in bold nasta'liq script, divided by a central horizontal line rule across the field. The upper register contains a poetic devotional inscription proclaiming the issuer's servitude to Shah Safi, while the lower register records the mint name Yerevan (Iravan). The calligraphy is deeply struck in high relief, characteristic of Safavid hammered coinage, with residual flan irregularities visible at the periphery. |
