| Obverse description | The obverse bears a two-hemistich Persian poetic legend in elegant Nasta'liq script, divided by a horizontal ruled line across the coin field. The upper hemistich reads 'بنشست چو آفتاب نقش زر و سیم' and the lower reads 'تا یافت شرف ز سکه ابراهیم', translating approximately as 'The image of gold and silver sat like the sun, until it gained honor from the coin of Ibrahim.' Decorative rosette or floral ornaments appear between and around the lines of text, typical of Afsharid hammered coinage. The script is boldly struck and occupies the majority of the flan, with the irregular, slightly ragged edge characteristic of hand-struck production. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a circular cartouche enclosing the mint and date legend in Nasta'liq script, reading 'ضرب تفلیس ۱۱۶۲' (Struck at Tiflis, AH 1162). The cartouche is surrounded by a raised circular border composed of a continuous row of raised dots or pellets, providing a decorative frame. A small floral or rosette ornament appears within the central field. The flat outer area beyond the cartouche is undecorated, showing the typical broad, plain flan of Afsharid provincial issues. |
