Obverse description A scallop shell depicted in full face, centrally placed within the field, with clearly rendered radiating ribs fanning outward from a rounded base. Two small pellets appear below the shell, flanking the hinge point, a characteristic feature of the Arse-Saguntum bronze coinage. The design is rendered in relatively high relief, typical of the Iberian hammered bronze tradition.
