Reverse description The reverse bears a dense arrangement of stylized Persian-script legends filling the entire field in the characteristic Jaipur coinage style, with bold, deeply struck strokes and curved elements. The inscription records the name of the local ruler Madho Singh II along with a regnal year notation. The lettering is rendered in the semi-abstract calligraphic manner traditional to Jaipur mint issues, with a beaded or plain border encircling the design. The compact flan leaves little empty field, consistent with native Indian princely state coining practices of the period.
