Reverse description A bold double cross — a cross potent or cross of Jerusalem type — occupies the central field, dividing it into four quarters, with a small decorative element at the center crossing point. The arms of the cross extend nearly to the beaded border, and the Latin legend runs continuously around the periphery. The execution is typical of hammered medieval Aragonese gold coinage, with slight irregularity in the flan.
