| Obverse description | Central field features a circular cartouche enclosing the Arabic tughra or calligraphic inscription of Husayn ibn Ali, Sheriff and King of Hejaz, rendered in ornate Arabic script. Surrounding the central cartouche, additional Arabic legends fill the four quadrants of the field in flowing calligraphic style. The design is entirely typographic, with no figural elements, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition. A plain inner border frames the central device, while the outer rim retains the coin's edge detail. |
