| Obverse description | Central field bears a bold Arabic religious inscription in Kufic script, arranged in multiple lines within an irregular flan. A single pellet is visible within the inscription field, serving as a decorative or separating device. The legends are framed by a partial beaded border running along the upper right periphery of the coin. The strike is characteristic of Almoravid hammered coinage, with uneven pressure resulting in a slightly off-centre impression typical of this denomination. |
