Obverse description Frontal standing figure of the king rendered in indigenous Sri Lankan style, depicted holding a flower in one hand. The figure is shown with stylized limbs and regalia in low relief, characteristic of medieval Polonnaruwa copper coinage. The design is executed in a crude but distinctive local artistic tradition. The field surrounding the figure is plain.

Reverse description Reverse bears a three-line Nagari (Devanagari) inscription arranged horizontally across the field, reading the royal name and title of the issuing monarch. The legend is rendered in bold, deeply incised characters typical of medieval South Asian copper issues. The inscription translates as 'Sri Parakramabahu', identifying the issuing ruler. The lettering fills the majority of the reverse field with minimal border ornamentation.
