| Obverse description | Central field displays the arms of Lucerne — a party per pale shield divided vertically into blue and silver — set within an ornate baroque oval cartouche framed by elaborate acanthus scrollwork. The heraldic shield is rendered in relief with decorative volutes extending to either side. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border, interrupted by small separating ornaments, with the date 1725 appearing at the top of the coin between two stops. |
