Obverse description Central field features an interlaced cursive royal cypher, combining the initials F and B for Friedrich Botho, Count of Stolberg-Rossla, rendered in an elegant baroque monogram style. A five-pearl count's coronet surmounts the cypher. The design is set within a plain field with a milled border, the monogram occupying the full width of the flan.

Reverse description A stag passant to the right, representing the heraldic device of the County of Stolberg-Rossla, is depicted standing atop a decorative pedestal or plinth. The stag is shown with full antlers and in profile, rendered in fine relief. A small coronet appears above the animal. The composition is enclosed within a milled border, with the charge filling the majority of the reverse field in a bold, sculpted style characteristic of small German gold coinage of the period.
