| Reverse description | Hexagonal flan with a central circular cartouche containing the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) and the Hijri date AH 1368 below, all rendered in bold Arabic Naskh script. Star-shaped ornaments and decorative devices are interspersed at the angles and within the field surrounding the central medallion. The peripheral legend, extending to the six sides of the coin, carries additional regal and religious titulary in a style consistent with Yemeni Imamate coinage of the mid-twentieth century. |
