Obverse description Facing bust of Nāṣer al-Dīn Shah Qājār rendered in low relief, depicted in military uniform with epaulettes and wearing the distinctive tall Qājār kulāh (lambskin cap). The portrait is centred within the coin field with no surrounding legend, characteristic of this diminutive gold denomination. The facial features, moustache, and uniform detailing are executed in the stylised portrait convention of Qājār court engraving.
