Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Persian legend in Nastaliq script occupying the entire field, reading 'Sanah Julus Maimana Manus' (year of the auspicious reign) alongside the mint name 'Zarb Munbai' (Struck at Bombay). A regnal year (RY) appears within the inscription, though many examples of this type are undated. The bold, deeply struck calligraphy fills the flan edge to edge, consistent with hammered Mughal-style fractional coinage. A decorative baseline or wave motif is faintly visible at the lower margin of the field.
