| Obverse description | Central field features a full-color photographic reproduction of the La Gomera giant lizard (Gallotia bravoana), depicted in three-quarter profile facing left, resting upon rocky terrain against a softly blurred natural background. The creature's detailed scalation, pale throat, and amber eye are rendered with exceptional naturalistic fidelity. An ornamental inner border composed of stylized floral and foliate motifs, interspersed with animal paw prints, frames the colored central image.
