Obverse description Crowned royal cypher composed of the intertwined monogram letters 'MF' (for Maximilian Friedrich) in an ornate script, surmounted by a princely crown occupying the upper portion of the field. The mintmaster's initials 'I K' appear in the lower field beneath the cypher. The design is rendered in a decorative Baroque style typical of small German ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.
