| Obverse description | The crowned arms of Saxony — barry of ten or and sable with a crancelin — displayed within an ornate baroque cartouche, flanked by elaborately engraved foliate scrollwork that fills the field. The electoral arms feature the characteristic Rautenkranz diagonal band across the barry field. The mintmaster's initials ILH appear in the lower exergue beneath the shield. |
