| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the quartered royal arms of Augustus III, comprising the Polish eagle, Lithuanian Pogoń, and the Saxon rautenkranz, surmounted by an elaborate royal crown. The escutcheon is flanked on either side by ornate acanthus-scroll supporters curling outward in baroque style. Mintmaster initials I·G·S appear at the base of the design below the shield. The coin's border is composed of a continuous row of fine beading. |
