Reverse description A full-length, frontal figure of Christ in Majesty, nimbed and robed, stands with right hand raised in benediction within a beaded mandorla-shaped ellipse studded with stars around its border. The surrounding legend, divided across the field, reads EGO SVM LVX MVN (I am the Light of the World), referencing the Gospel of John. The composition closely follows the reverse type established for Venetian zecchino coinage, rendered in the small but finely detailed format appropriate to this quarter-zecchino denomination.
