| Reverse description | Central device depicts the imperial Lion and Sun emblem of the Qajar dynasty: a rampant lion facing dexter, holding a sword in its right forepaw, set before a radiant rising sun whose rays fan outward behind the lion's body. A Kiani crown surmounts the sun above the lion's back. The central device is framed by an open wreath of laurel branches tied at the base. Below the wreath, the denomination ربع تومان (Quarter Tuman) is inscribed in Nasta'liq script, with the AH date ۱۲۹۵ beneath it. A plain raised rim surrounds the entire composition. |
