The mintmaster's initials AK appear above the shield, flanked by the divided date 16-19. A continuous Latin legend runs along the outer border, reading the names and titles of the ruling counts.

Reverse description An armored equestrian figure, identified as a count of Mansfeld, rides to the right on a caparisoned horse, raising a sword in the right hand. The rider wears a plumed helmet and full plate armour, rendered in vigorous late-Renaissance style. A Latin circular legend surrounding the scene reads the comital title, identifying the issuing authority as the Counts and Lords of Mansfeld.
