Reverse description Central quartered heraldic shield bearing the four-fold arms of the County of Mansfeld, surmounted by two elaborate crested helms with flowing mantling. The date 1616 and the mintmaster's initials AK are disposed around and between the helmets within the field. The entire composition is framed by a circular Latin legend within a beaded rim, consistent with the hammered coinage style of the early seventeenth-century German states.
