Obverse description Armored and crowned half-length effigy of Emperor Maximilian II facing right, holding a scepter in his right hand and wearing the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The date is divided at left and right by the figure. A beaded inner circle frames the effigy, with a small Bohemian lion shield at the base, and the mint mark positioned at the terminus of the surrounding legend.
