| Reverse description | Six-line commemorative inscription in Latin occupying the entire field, recording the key dates in the life of Louis Anthony of Pfalz-Neuburg: his birth on 9 June 1660, his election as Coadjutor of the Grand Mastership on 16 December 1679, his enthronement as Grand Master on 15 January 1685, and his death on 4 May 1694. The mintmaster's initials GFN appear in the lower exergue beneath the final line. The plain field surrounding the text gives the inscription a lapidary, funerary character appropriate to a memorial issue. |
