| Obverse description | The obverse displays the elaborately mantled quartered coat of arms of the Counts of Mansfeld-Eisleben, surmounted by a crowned helm with an eagle displayed as crest. The shield is divided into four quarters bearing the distinctive lozengy and eagle charges of the Mansfeld family. Flanking the achievement are foliate supporters, and the field is plain. The peripheral legend reads FORTITER ET CONSTANTER, encircling the composition within a milled border. |
