Reverse description Two mailed forearms emerge from the lower field, each hand grasping the severed limb of the other in a symbolic gesture referencing the strength and unity of the Reformation cause. Above the arms, a wreath frames a Hebrew inscription. The surrounding circular legend reads MATRNIS FORTIS BONI in Latin, with the lettering oriented inversely relative to the obverse, running around the milled border.
