Reverse description Ornate coat of arms of the Teutonic Order rendered as a floriated cross composed of four pillars, with an escutcheon bearing an eagle at the center. The four quadrants defined by the cross each contain a heraldic shield from the arms of Georg Friedrich I: the quartered sable and argent Hohenzollern arms, the crowned rampant lion of Ansbach, the griffin of Pomerania, and the red eagle of Brandenburg, arranged clockwise on German-shaped escutcheons. A braided inner circle borders the central design, and a Latin legend commences at 12 o'clock, with the date 1578 at the conclusion of the inscription.
