Obverse description Draped bust of Elisabetha Henrietta of Hesse-Kassel facing right, her hair elaborately dressed with pearls and curls. A pearl necklace adorns her décolletage, and her garment is rendered with fine drapery detail. The portrait is set within a beaded inner border. The legend ELISABETA · HENRIETTA · encircles the effigy along the periphery in Latin capitals.

Reverse description A crowned funerary tablet bearing an eight-line Latin inscription recording the death of Elector Frederick William of Brandenburg, with dates of birth and death inscribed thereon. A skull and crossbones motif appears below the tablet as a memento mori symbol, typical of 17th-century German memorial coinage. The overall composition is characteristic of the Baroque commemorative tradition employed by the Brandenburg-Prussian mint.
