Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Frederick II (the Great) facing right, with flowing curled hair and a prominent laurel wreath, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The legend FRIDERICUS BORUSSORUM REX arcs around the upper and lower periphery in raised Latin characters. The portrait conveys a strong neoclassical character consistent with late 18th-century Prussian coinage. The coin's milled edge is visible along the rim.
