Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III facing right, wearing a richly decorated mantle with elaborate ornamentation, confined within a beaded inner circle. The imperial effigy is rendered in high relief in the characteristic Baroque style of the Silesian mint. The peripheral Latin legend reads continuously around the inner circle, identifying the ruler by name and his royal and imperial titles.
