| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the Shi'a Kalima inscribed in Arabic script within a rectangular cartouche, with additional marginal legend encircling the border. The script is executed in a bold, angular style characteristic of Timurid hammered coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of hand-struck issues of this period. Portions of the marginal inscription are partially off-flan due to the small diameter of the coin. |

| Reverse description | Reverse field bearing Arabic legends arranged within a rectangular cartouche, likely containing the mint name (Herat), regnal year, and the name of the ruling Timurid sovereign. The inscription is set in bold Naskh-style Arabic script, consistent with Timurid monetary conventions. The surrounding marginal legend, partially visible due to the irregular flan, carries additional formulaic text. According to Stephen Album's Checklist of Islamic Coins, this type is designated Scarce (S), with Herat and Astarabad mint issues being relatively more common, while other mints are classified as Very Rare (RR). |
