| Reverse description | Contemporary interpretation of the iconic Saint George and the Dragon motif, commemorating the 200th anniversary of Benedetto Pistrucci's original design for the Sovereign. Saint George is depicted on horseback, mounted on a rearing horse, wielding a sword above his head in preparation to strike. Beneath the horse, a large, finely detailed dragon writhes on the ground, its scaled body and outstretched wings rendered with great precision.
