Reverse description A stacked, multi-line Latin inscription occupying the central field of the reverse, reading the royal title and name of the Ostrogothic king Theia. The legend is arranged in four horizontal lines within the field and is enclosed by a beaded or laurel wreath border, as clearly visible on the coin. This reverse type is characteristic of late Ostrogothic royal quarter-siliquae, asserting the king's authority through the rex title while maintaining Roman epigraphic conventions. The wreath border is well-defined, composed of stylized laurel branches meeting at the top.
