Reverse description A forward-facing Lion of St. Mark, depicted in high relief within a large, ornately decorated baroque shield adorned with elaborate scrollwork and foliate embellishments. The numeral 35, denoting the coin's value in soldi, appears in the exergue beneath the shield. The encircling Latin legend SANCTVS·MARC·VENET runs along the rim, separated by pellet stops, affirming the patronage of Saint Mark of Venice.
