Reverse description The quartered coat of arms of the Lordship of Bergh, displayed on a Renaissance-style shield with decorative mantling, set upon a footed long cross whose arms extend to divide the surrounding Latin legend into four sections. The heraldic shield occupies the central field and is rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of hammered billon coinage of the Guelders region. A beaded inner border frames the composition, with the circumferential legend reading continuously around the periphery of the flan.
