| Reverse description | The reverse presents a multi-line Persian legend arranged across the coin's field within ruled horizontal registers, recording the name and titles of Maharaja Dhiraj Umaid Singh of Jodhpur together with the mint name Jodhpur. A crescent and pellet ornaments appear as secondary decorative elements in the field, consistent with Marwar mint conventions. The inscription is executed in a flowing Nasta'liq-influenced script typical of Rajput princely coinage. The upper register carries the opening words of the legend, with successive lines filling the central and lower fields. The Daroga's mark, either Aum or Shri depending on the variety, may appear as an additional control mark within the field. |
