| Obverse description | The obverse bears bold Arabic-script legends arranged in three horizontal registers across the field, with decorative dot rosettes flanking the text on either side. The uppermost register displays the frozen Hijri date AH 1172 in Eastern Arabic numerals. The central and lower registers carry the imperial legend referencing Alamgir II, reading 'Sikka Badshah Alamgir'. The entire design is enclosed within a finely beaded border. The style follows the conventional Mughal epigraphic type, with no figurative imagery. |
