| Obverse description | Central circular cartouche bearing the Arabic legend 'ربع ريال' (quarter riyal) in two lines within a beaded inner circle. Surrounding the cartouche, a bold Arabic inscription reads 'خمسة وعشرون هللة' (twenty-five halalas) arching across the upper field. The numeral '25' appears in Western-Arabic notation to the left and the Eastern-Arabic numeral '٢٥' to the right of the central device. The Hijri date '١٣٩٢' (AH 1392) is prominently displayed in the lower field. This is one side of a double-reverse mule struck with two reverse dies. |
