Obverse description Central effigy of Sultan Qaboos bin Said in left-facing bust portrait, wearing a traditional Omani turban and a decorated collar garment. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detailing of facial features including a trimmed beard. A circular Arabic legend surrounds the effigy, reading along the upper and lower periphery of the field.

Reverse description A panoramic view of Samail Fort (Nizwa-Samail corridor) depicted across a rocky mountain landscape, with crenellated battlements stretching along the hilltop and palm trees visible in the lower middle field. The Hijri date ١٣٩٤ (1394) appears in Arabic-Indic numerals at the top of the field. The denomination and country name are inscribed in Arabic script along the lower portion of the field.
