| Obverse description | Central shield displaying the Honduran national arms: a triangular cartouche surmounted by a radiant all-seeing eye above a volcanic landscape flanked by sailing vessels, the whole draped with a decorative cloth mantle tied at the base. The engraver's signature BARRE appears in the lower exergue. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS is inscribed along the upper periphery, with AMERICA CENTRAL along the lower periphery, both separated by a beaded border. |
