| Obverse description | A pomegranate plant in full bloom occupies the central field, depicted with a detailed, textured fruit at the top showing characteristic seeded crown, flanked by naturalistic leafy branches extending to either side. The stem rises from the base of the coin with additional foliage and a small bud visible to the lower right. The date 1852 is inscribed in the lower exergue in large serif numerals.
